Cheetah and her three cubs

Cheetahs are solitary animals, the task of raising children is done by the mother cheetah alone. When the baby growing up, they face various threats such as starving, drought, and other predators, so the survival rate of cheetah cubs is very low. It was very interesting to follow this cheetah family for a few days.

Looking out. Finding prey and judging distance is the most important technique. In order to get super fast speed, cheetahs don't store much fat in the body. Therefore, the failure of several hunting means exhaust of energy and facing death.

Mum in the front and cubs followed.

Stop and go, familiar with all kinds of environments.

Hunting and training are intertwined.

Usually, mum plays the prey, and the cub must learn to bite the prey's neck quickly and accurately.

Jumping to the prey.

Neck won't always be easy to attack, sometimes it needs to jumb on the back first.

Find a way to take down the prey. As long as the prey fall down, there is a good chance of biting the neck.

Mum was chased, suddenly turned to a squid and kicked back, the cub was thrown into the air.

More often they are tweaking and practicing with each other.

Learn to hunt in the entertainment.
